About James

James Riso is an expert in using data to drive business impact. As the former VP of Data Science and Analytics at Daily Harvest, he grew the function as the company scaled to a $1.1B valuation, leading initiatives that drove millions in revenue and profit.

Prior to Daily Harvest, James worked at Uber and as an economic consultant at Cornerstone Research. He graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an MBA (concentration in Econometrics & Statistics) and earned a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Georgetown University.

James is a native of Brooklyn, NY and splits time between New York City and New Orleans.
